Dina & Bamba Y Su Pilón D'Azúcar is composed of Cuban musicians who have studied in the best musical schools in the city of Havana, Cuba and who have immigrated and taken up residency in the city of Portland, Oregon.
Band performance is very diverse in which we present all types of Cuban music: Son, Cha Cha Cha, La Guaracha, La Rumba, Guaguanco, Timba, Salsa (popular and traditional), and many other genres in Latin music such as Cumbia, Bachata and Merengue that are all very popular and very contagious and pleasurable to dance to.
The band's vocalists, Bamba and Dina, have exceptionally rich voices. They lead the band with their strong musical talent and knowledge of improvisation that keeps everyone dancing and interacting with the band in the tradition of Cuban Salsa bands.
The band's musicians have played in Cuba, Mexico and in many cities in the United States such as New York, Miami and Seattle and throughout Washington and Oregon. Join us every Thursday at Andrea's Cha Cha Club and feel the flavor and rhythm!
